Powertrax vs Richmond lock right?

I bought a lock right from a vendor on the pirate boards for $189 brand new. I was expecting it to be a Powertrax but I just got it last night and it is a Richmond, I didnt even know there were two different lock rights. What should I do, is the Richmond lock right a good locker? Should I try and return it? And if it is a descent locker is there an install writeup for the richmond locker? It looks completely different from the powertrax so im sure the install is different and the directions that came with it seem pretty vague.

Is there a writeup anywhere on installing a loc right in a V6 housing? The one on 4x4wire is for a 4cylinder I beleive. Oh and the v6 loc right comes with just two splined pieces, two spacers and a bag of springs right? It must use the stock side spider gears right?

The install of a lock-right is very easy just time consuming. The instructions included is sufficent enough to get you through the install. Let us know if you have any more questions!!

Powertrax is manufactured by Richmond. It is a subsidiary company. My lockright is also stamped w/ the Richmond name.

And the cheapest!

I got my lockright from classic city offroad, they are a vendor on Pirate4x4.
Paid $189, like $200 shipped.
I got it all installed alright, I was worried about the large amount of backlash in the locker but apparently it is normal. It seems to work really good and once I learned to adjust my driving style for the locker you can hardly notice it, till you go off road of course! It was a little more involved than I thought it would be, but probably more so because I had never done it before and it was a little intimidating to split the carrier and all that, but now that I have done it once I would have no worries about it and would probably take half the time, it is truly easy.

Ummm, locker's don't exhibit backlash. Backlash has to due with setting the gears.

I think what you are refering to is the locker's tendency to unload and cause a bang or pop. Just trying to help with the terminiology.
