Trouble. Reading Trouble Codes

I went to read the trouble codes. Jumped the Te1 and E1 terminals on the diagnostic box. Turned the key to on and it just flashed really fast. It never stopped. I counted over 200 flashes then turned it off. Anyone know what that means?
Thanks

Tap the accelerator pedal to engage the diagnostics. Some you have to do this some you don't.
