Does anyone have a diagram for 22r gasket rebuild kit , or know where one is?

I need to know the name of the gasket that goes on the back of the head, Small water jacket cover or some kind of removable cover. Also the gasket kit I got with my rebuilt motor (rebuilt by a shop) has several alike gaskets and im not sure if they are just extra or If I need them somewhere.

It's an ITM gasket set. The kit does not look too impressive. The original gasket that come of the back of the head was metal and heavy duty. The gasket in the kit has two thin paper gaskets neither one has metal. I would like to see if I can order a better one, Possibly a Fel Pro but I dont want to order a complete felpro kit

I used a coolant specific RTV on that back gasket. Have had no problems with it for years.

If your bent on using a gasket for it, the dealer should be able to order it for you. I bet it would be less than $5.00

the gasket you are referring to sounds to me like it's the EGR cooler gasket. It should come with the kit. Mine did. Mine wasn't the ITM kit though it was the rock kit from Engnbldr. The only gasket I remember not coming with mine was that gasket for the plate under the intake manifold. Which Autozone actually calls a Carb base gasket.

The kit is gonna be for both 22r and 22re. So you will have some left over. Troll through some of the 22r/22re rebuild threads. Mainly 92 Toy's and Iamsuperbleeder's. I know you have a 22r, but........ Those two should help.
