Ecu help on 1988 4runner 22re

Ok I have been chasing my tail on codes that the part ended up testing fine so I opened up my side panel to check the ecu and fond a used ecu labeled for a 22R-T with writing on it that say it's for a 87 turbo 4runner. It is part # 89661-35050... I decided to plug in one I have here for my 1986 4runner back in Costa for a 22R # 89661-35070 and wow what a difference. The damn thing runs nice and smooth with plenty of extra power. Now what ecu part # actually is for my truck? Is it 89661-35110? Thanks for the info

we can't give you an accurate ecu number if we don't know if you have a cali emissions or federal emissions truck.

89661-35110 if you have Federal Emissions

89661-35130 if you have California Emissions

Yes it matters.

just because your in fla doesn't mean you only need federal emissions, what does the truck have, it matters.

The Nippon-Denso (ND) number on the circuit board is 175631-0082

But I also have one that says on the board that it is 175631-0080 but on the sticker is says 175600-0122 Toyota# 89661-35070... So basically I am confused!

I just had to throw that out there because I have seen at least one post asking to convert a truck from cali to fed emissions. in which you cannot do.
