How to hook up an IPOD to a 2005 4Runner?
I'm looking for advice on how to hook up an IPOD to my 2005 4Runner SR5, 4.0 V6. The current head unit has a CD/Tape Deck combo.
Does anyone know if this head unit has aux input already installed in the back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

i doubt it, on a stock system if there was an aux input you would have the option of selecting it using the source button. so unless you have a button or option somewhere that says "aux" or "auxiliary" then there is no input for it. you should go to best buy and look at ipod compatible decks. they usually run in the $100's. if you really wanted to be cheap go there and ask for the tape deck to ipod adapter. its a tape with a wire coming out of it that hooks into the head phone jack on the ipod.

Bought a new stock head unit
I just went out and got a new 4Runner head unit from a new 4Runner that has an aux button. Anyone have any idea if this new head unit will work?
