How to embed pictures from Picasa

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post a 'tech' write up, but I've seen several posts claiming to not know how to embed pics from picasa. Here is how:

While viewing your pic in picasa, you'll notice the 'get link to this Photo' on the side. That's the easy part. The hard part is choosing which link. IT's NOT the first one.

Instead, notice the 2 check boxes under the 'embed image option.' the 2nd check box (image only, no link) should be checked and then you can use the 'embed image option' link to use in yotatech.

When posting a message with images, use the add image icon as you would expect.

How to post/embed pics using Picasa

I've seen some posts lately having difficulty posting from picasa (google's photo storage application).

If you want to make the picture 'clickable' then you would deselect this box.

When posting a message with images, use the add image icon as you would expect. (looks like a mountain with the sun/moon in the upper right corner)

Yes. And before posting I looked around where to post it, I still have no idea where. I thought it'd go in the tech write up section, but when I posted, nothing showed up. Figured here is better than nothing

direction appreciated!

best suited place I see is here, but it really doesn't see much traffic... the only other place I can think of would be here

doesn't really matter to me; I have a PhotoBucket Pro account, and I know how to use it

Moved from the "Tech article staging" area.

Good advice, as I sue Picasa to edit pics, but I have not used them yet for hosting.

This takes 2 copy\pastes, but I like the result, which is a linked thumbnail to picasa.

copy the embed code from picasa, paste it here and press the process button

The copy the URL that it generates and paste in your post.
