1991 22re belt alignment/waterpump belt pulley

hello, I have a 91 22re pick up. it has factory air and p/s; 2wd 5speed.
I am having an issue with belt alignment on the water pump. it seems that the pulley on the wp is offset too far towards the engine (it actually rubs a little on the bolt head behind it) the pump is good with no wobble or leakage. i know that the engine was swapped out prior to me getting the truck with an older 22re(still the correct style 85- )

my questions is:
are the water pump pulleys all the same? is there a spacer behind it? (supposed to be?)
are the water pumps all the same? nose length/height (i noticed that the fan blade also hits a bolt head sometimes and that the whole height of the water pump, fan clutch and fanblade seem too short)

all the other accessories are perfectly in line. any help would be great!
Nick

i will try. Toyota is calling it a "seat"...basically there can be no other reason for the pulley to be too far in other than this missing....
strange that I find no reference to this seat ANYWHERE...no picture, no anything. all 22r pumps are the same according to what i can find the later 88-95 all use the same waterpump pulley regardless of ac/ps or air pump...the earlier style is 2 groove. I am beside my self...this is my Daily driver and NO where can i find any info. the part is back ordered at toyota so I am not even able to use the truck(can't drive 60 miles a day to work waiting for the thing to toss the belt on rt 80)

ok, first, thanks for the help guys. here is the answer to my problem
the water pump flange (where the pulley sits) was pushed back on the impeller shaft. that is what caused the misalignment. I had another pump and compared them. i needed to do the front seal as well and that was easy .I impact gun took the crank bolt out no sweat(i love my ir titanium) swapped the pumps and its aligned, now too bad the crappy advance auto pump i had grinds
anyways, who makes a good pump with a cast impeller? i am not too fond of the kind of pumps that use the bent steel impellers(had a bad experience on my vw)
