Will 265/70/15's Pass as 31/10.5/15's?

I'm assuming that I could pass off a 265/70/15 with the rest of my 31/10.5/15's. Is there really much difference between the two sizes? I can assume it would be a good idea to keep that 265 on the front at all times. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks.

according to a tire calculator ( http://www.subarubrat.com/Calc.htm ) that calculates to 29.6" tall....and I doubt that 265mm is equal to 10.5"

but yea, if it was on the front, it probably wouldn't be a huge deal. but I wouldn't call it a permanent fix.

and if it was on the front, it won't effect your mileage almost at all.

I guess my main concern is to whether or not it will damage anything.

Anyone got an extra BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail TA laying around?
