You want to jump Te to E1 if I remember right. Make sure it's a good connection. You'll hear the RPMs drop and see the engine light flash.

3vze startup hesitation

Last week I attempted to start my 3.0 4runner and when I turned the key it started up for a brief second and died. I tried to start it again and it would just crank and crank without actually...

I just put a torque wrench on it and put the specified 116 ft/lbs on it. There's still a 5mm-7mm space between the pulley and the oil seal. Is this normal? It's torqued on to spec, is this even a...

Installing Crankshaft Pulley

I've pushed and tightened the bolt and there seems to be a gap between the pulley and the oil seal. I don't remember it being there before. It's supposed to be flush with the timing cover & oil...

Head Bolt Helicoil

*Sigh* I tightened down 9/10 head bolts in the correct sequence with the correct torque. The very last one keeps spinning. I suppose the threads in the block are degraded.

I assume helicoil is...

Crankshaft Pulley

Well, I've hit a wall. I've gotten my center bolt out, and I've gotten the four smaller bolts out of the pulley. Now what? I can't seem to get the pulley loose! Any suggestions?
