I tried with my 3.0, but there wasnt enough room to get a larger one in there. I think youd need a relocation unit to do it.

I bet you could do a SAS for cheaper if you had any fabrication skills....but that kit looks awsome if you are set on keeping the IFS.

Hmm, Ive done same to mine minus the hubs, and I average (city/hwy) ~17, but mine is a 5spd...I say you get a 5.6mpg increase.

Not sure if you can fit one in there at all due to the wheel hump in the T4R. I cant remember off the top of my head, but I dont think the LC has that...allowing the jump seat to fit. Dont quote me...

Ive tried to get parts for it as well to no success. There is a fitting place in Everett that specializes in brass fittings etc... its a huge warehouse, and they didnt have the stuff I described...

I uh, actually dont think there is a better diesel than a Cummins....If there is, I havent heard of it.

As for the tranny..that is really going to depend on how much you turn up the boost :)
