hi i been thinking alot about when my 3.slow goes in my 92 4runner. i love it and havent been able to kill it yet but i know its going to dies sometime and have thought about the 3.4 swap with a supercharger. i have a 92 4x4 5 speed. was wondering about any tips for the swap and the wireing. im not that great ( meaning i know nothing about wiring on cars) o and i have a 6in susp lift and 4.88s front and rear. not really sure where to start and all when it goes. i plan on using the kit from off road solutions. help

    Yotaman,
I just want to say first off, I'm impressed with your yota-powered dune buggy! Nice work! Very clean and looks like it would work very well! I'm curious about the efi harness you made though. I'm having a problem with a cylinder in my truck, and We've narrowed it down possibly to a wiring problem. There is a lot of home made wiring in my truck from the previous owners and the problem is too intermittent to be mechanical, and we've swapped the computer out and it still does the same thing.
This error could be possible due to a wiring shorting to the injector and shooting an improper amount of fuel into the cylinder because of the wrong amount of power is being sent to that injector. I was curious if you were making these harness's for other people? I would basically just be looking for a factory harness with nothing fancy in it. If you do this, please message me back! Thanks a lot for your time and I'm sorry for my massive post!

    Yotaman,

I'm fairly new to Yotatech as a member but have been reading here for quit some. I am in the process on a 3.4 swap in a 94 4Runner and have a question for you. I read in one of the threads shere you said that you can make a 5sp. truck run with an Auto ECM. This is what I am in the middle of and was wondering if you might have any clues as to the tricking of the ECM to make it think that it is in Park all the time. Any help would be greatly apprecitated.

    Thanks,
    Kent (ride4fun)

    Greg,
I have read your thread several times about your 3.4 swap on your 4runner. I am getting ready to have this done to my 92 by my mechanic. If you don't mind me asking, were you able to use the transmission/transfer case from the original 3.0? Is there any recommendations that you could make to help save any major headaches that you ran into? Thanks in advance, Randy

    Hey Yotaman,
I was online looking at your 87 blue 4runner that you had posted earlier, is it still for sale and if so how urgently are you looking to get rid of it? It looked awesome and its exactly what I am planning on turning into a roadtrip vehicle. Please let me know cuz I am interested!!! Phil

I'm looking for some parts for a 94 pickup SR5 3.0 V6. I need the Mas Air Flow Meter, Computers (ECU) for a manual trans, Injectors, complete Engine Wiring Harness, and the Engine Temp Sincer on the EGR Valve. If you have the Engine I'll take it with the ECU.
