    Well...you'd really need to look at a vacuum diagram (though they don't help much since things changed so much over the years...). But if there's vacuum to that line, you either need to find where it goes and connect it, or plug it off so you don't have a vacuum leak. I'll look later but I'm not totally sure of the hose you're talking about. Just so you know, hearing the solenoid click doesn't necessarily mean it's good, especially since your problem seems to be intermittent...works sometimes, doesn't others. If you search idle cut (or fuel cut) solenoid here or on marlin's site or pirate, you should find instructions on testing it, and grounding it to the battery if necessary. That's what fixed mine. But you may very well have a completely different issue going on. I will say, the carb and the emissions system has been the hardest thing for me to figure out on this truck...I'm definitely not there yet.
