I have been doing the research prior to swapping a 1UZ into my 88 4runner. I have read a LOT of the threads and comments you have posted, and I had a question. I am going to have to buy a T100 trans/t-case in addition to the 1UZ/A341E. I see you swapped over the input components from the A341E to the A340F, and added the front speed sensor. In your opinion, was wiring the Lexus ECU to run the A340F more or less difficult than swapping the A340F tail and t-case onto the A341E would be, what with the cutting the shaft, and repositioning the rear speed sensor gear?

Since I am going to have to get both transmissions to do this, I am not sure which way to go. Guys like you and RMA and Toyminator are the resident experts, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks for any help in advance!

do you have any pics of the engine in the runner? Also would you happen to have a list of parts from the swap. I have a 1990 toyota pickup 4x4 and would like to swap in the 1uzfe. any info would help.thanks

I just checked out your sig and page on your truck are you using the lexus auto or are you going with the 5spd trany? would you be able to point me in the direction od a us company that makes the bell housing adaptor. I found what i need in AU but its really pricey. Thanks Ridda
