yes john i dont really have to much noise when my sunroof is open even at freeway speeds. i do think that the dam is very helpful. i just dont know if its factory or aftermarket. let me know how it goes with the springs.

hey john great im glad they made it. you shouldnt have to use a spring compressor. just jack up your runner really high.take off the bottom of the shocks. disconnect the track bar and make sure you put some tall jackstands under your frame right in front of the rear traction bars. then lower the jack. the springs will drop pretty far and you'll be able to see what you need to do to get the old out and the new in. dont forget to add that bracket i sent also for the height valve. if you have any questions call me and i will walk you through it. i am off wed so give me a call anytime if your putting them in. 253 732 8688.
