Recently while driving my 89 2wd 22r 5 speed Toyota pickup I at first heard a weird clicking noise when I shifted then shortly after the noise leaving a stop sign I was rolling in first gear and all of the sudden my rear tires locked up and skidded to a start. After that I only had reverse. Trailered the truck home and the next day it went through all the gears just fine out on the compound. After the fact though I still replaced the transmission and also replaced the clutch and now the truck is stuck into reverse and only has that will not go into 1-5. I'm completely lost so if anyone has any ideas on what could be going on the help would be greatly appreciated.
