install of anything audio is very easy is yotas. just stay away from tryin to install stuf in nissans. lol. not much fun there. u can actually break stuff. my 94 pu didnt have the factory amp or any of that stuff, but the 2 front 4in speakers were very easy to toss in and the head unit was a breeze as well. i would suggest infinity for the speakers. the head unit i have is pioneer, and its great with plenty of easy settings, but alpine is good too. if ur lookin to put in a sub too go with a rockford fosgate p2 punch. the 10in will pound u plenty with the right amp hook up and settings. i run it to a tiny dual amp and its amazing. i would take it over 2 12" alpine r's any day. (btw, the 2 12's wouldnt fit, but thats not the point. but regardless of what other people tell u, uv gotta reseach and put in what sounds best to you and is best for ur type of music. different speakers sound better with different music, and different h units have different setting controls for different music. play it smart. good luck

I disagree with that statement. A speaker really doesn't have any magical attributes that make it conducive to reproducing a particular type of music... it either sounds right or it doesn't... with all music. You need to evaluate the frequency response on your speakers and subwoofer.

dude, if u get a speaker that handles between 50hz-120hz, and a speaker that handles from 70hz to 140hz, ur obviously covering different frequencys. and thats what i ment. if ur listening to rap and want more bass, u need to look for speakers that cover the lower freq's/ if ur goin classic rock, get a higher freq speaker. has nothing to do with magic. u said urself to evaluate the freq response. duh. lol. alpine type r's will play bass, while infinity reference with play high. easy as that. get the speakers that cover what U want to cover, not what other people say they like. ask what type of music they listen to, then pay attention to what they say.
