I have the Sport which I could only get a single disc/cassette player head unit. Apparently if you get the rear dual level shelf, you can't have a changer ??? WTF ???

Anyway, I am ready to put my Clarion HX-D10 Limited in and have a dash kit etc.

Problem is, the harness adaptor I got does not match the connections to back of head unit. So, I check amp (on my 99, connections made at small amp in console) which is behind rear load space panel fixed to factory sub enclosure and nothing matches up there either.

It seems like the Limited's have a different head unit which works with the stock harness adaptor. Mine does not.

The drone at the Audio store says ...must be another amp in the console....well, come find it slick. I had that all apart and the ONLY amp is the one in back which runs all 10 speakers.

So...I have found a harness connector that says its for Toy/Lexus amplified systems and applications are for Celica 2000 and up

Strange...did not know Lexus did a Celica

Anyway, looks like this may work and I did manage to get Crutchfield to give me all the wire colors and locations at the head unit AND the output from factory amp.

I have it all is an Excel spreadsheet if someone wants it.

BUT, anyone done this ? Anyone found a harness adaptor that will fit ??

I have no problem splicing wires if I have to BUT would really like plug n play if possible
