The cheapest hydro set up i've seen was a grand. That didn't include upgraded pumps and the like. He would want two for the best set up, front and rear.

Toss on some toyota knuckes on your rear axle, build a hydro system. Get custom axles made. Vola! Use a link or maybe a spring setup. I Think it would be pimp.

No problem, but it's probably not the best idea to use. Like I said that idea came to my head after drinkin' all night long, and those usually end up not being very good ideas.
Lubrication would probably be tricky to figure out but if you think you can make it work go for it.....
