Uses the same locations as the seat bottoms do for the hinge mounting. Sits at the same level as the trunk area, has a small lip at the front so items won't slide forward as easily under braking and land on the floor or hit the front seats. The panel can be tilted forward (like the seat bottoms) to reveal a small area underneath. The seller's description is fairly complete. Some trucks didn't have backseats, some had these panels installed only. Some dealer/port added seats used the factory rear seat delete panel as part of the aftermarket seat frame. Some dealer/port/aftermarket added seats were 100% aftermarket and didn't use the rear seat delete panel at all. Aftermarket stuff is a bit hard to track down parts for and they're not all the same. Mostly, the aftermarket seats are a full width folding bench, not a left/right split like the factory seats.
