What do you think about Goodyear wranglers?
I want to get some new tire before the snow falls.
I want some 37x12.5x15 Goodyear wranglers and just wanna know how well they do in the snow and on the street as this is my dd/wheeler.
if not good years then what would you recommend i want mud terrain type tires but not boggers or swampers something more streetable and longer lasting

If you're talking about MTR's, I think I've heard they're OK but not exceptional in the snow. Street handling is good, but they of course wear out faster than an A/T.

my truck came with 235/75r15 GY Wranglers. I loved the look of them, and they tread was decent....but.uh....that summer I got 6 flat tires, had to replace two of them and I still have the 2 inch rock that was embedded in one of the tires..IMO, they are weak. but since you're getting larger tires, I assume they will be thicker......They did okay on the fall ice/snow here, but i wouldnt trust them on full on winter like I do my BFG A/Ts.....

I have always had bad luck with Goodyears. I am sure they are good tires but I have had issues with them coming apart while driving/ blowouts/ flats. I have had 0 issues with BF Goodrich. ---Just my experience

MTR's are hard to beat on dry pavement or rock. Some say they are OK in the mud, others hate them - I think it depends on the kind of mud. Deep snow they are good. Packed snow, they suck - no siping.
They are without a doubt the ONLY Goodyear I would consider running.
There are TONS of other options out there - ProComp Xtreme MT, Mickey Thompson MTZ, BFG KM2, on and on with "streetable" mud tires.

As soon as i find a buyer for my toyo's ill be gettin some of thos 37inch goddyear MTR's. I think im gonna get the center section siped for added wet traction. ive read other reviews and heard they do really well in the snow which is what i wheel 90% of the time.

I have MTRs on mine right now and I definately would like to upgrade to a larger size of MTRs. They are good in the rain, sand, and rock. Mud is ok but it is not a true mud terrain. MTR stands for maximum traction radial so according to Goodyear it is more of a high traction all terrain. I like mine a lot and there are a lot of guys who won't run anything but them. Other good choices were mentioned so let us know what you pick.

I actually own a set of Wranglers and I have been running them for about a year on my 99 4Runner. They are fine. I think they're good in the snow and I've never been stuck in the mud either. I don't rock crawl so I couldn't speak to that.

Weinerdogbone has a good point. Also consider that a lot of people who have opinions are basing that info on the fact that the tires in question were on a different type of vehicle, heavier or lighter vehicle, and at varying possible tire pressures. I can tell you for a fact that once you get down to 15 psi that MTR's will impress you with what they can do. If someone is telling you something negative or positive find out if it was on a Jeep, truck, 4Runner etc and then find out about the tire pressures they normally run and what type of offroading they do.

BF Goodrich A/T's! I had Goodyear Wranglers to begin with and wasn't all that satisfied with them through a few Salt Lake City hunting seasons and winters. Then when I moved to Montana I switched to BF Goodrich A/T's at about 42,000miles on my truck now at 150,000 I'm on my 2nd set with plenty of tread left and won't ever go to another tire. Great traction and handling in snow and good traction in most consistencies of mud (for an A/T). Also have very good street preformance.
