22R rebuild

What is the best way to rebuild this motor so that i want have any problems on running hot. I am thinking of putting a .40 over kit in it with a low torque cam. Didnt know if anybody else has done one. Just needing some opinions?

I have never had any overheating problems with a 22R. Just wire up a couple low voltage fans with some hood vents to move the hot air out and you should be good to go. You can also use a bigger radiator to increase the amount of coolant circulating through the engine... An electric fan helps too mounted directly to the radiator so it moves more air...

The thinner cylinder walls from gong .40 over shouldn't cause it to run that much hotter as far as overheating the engine goes as long as your cooling system is working (water pump, coolant, radiator & fan)
