1994 4runner 7" lift

my 4runner has a 4" suspension and a 3" body lift and 33's. I bought it like this, and now i want to take the body lift off (safer in the hills here) Does anyone have very much experience with body lifts? Is all i have to do remove the block body mounts, and then what else? i know there is more to it then that. Something with the steering? any input would be appreciated

I'm not positive (no body lift yet) but I think other than removing the spacers in the mounts and the steering extension you'd need to replace the longer bolts on the body mounts with stock length ones. It may not be a major issue until you run into the tighter fit areas where the space is limited. I don't think anything else will need fixin. If you have an extension for the shifter that'd probably be best to remove to. It may look cool to leave it in there though

Remove the lift blocks and longer bolts, replace with stock length hardware:

And remove all the bumper brkts, radiator brrkts, steering extensions, etc.

-gas filler tube may also have been extended.
-2-3 floor jacks, a few jackstands, a ton of wooden blocks and no beer till you are done are recommended too
-before you lower anything be sure to check for kinked hoses/wiring.
-post a write up
