Sticking calipers 01 sequoia

Help! 01 Sequoia SR5-- Brake calipers stick when vehicle is parked for 2 or 3 days. Is parked in a garage. Dealer can find nothing. Yesterday day had to torque up to about 2500 rpm to them get to brake loose. Usually just a nudge on the gas breaks them loose. Not having the usual problems. No vibrations pads seem to be wearing well. about 50% gone at 32000. Any ideas? About 85 days of warrenty left. Dealer seems, cooperative. Goes back in tomorrow.

Are the brakes sticking in the front or rear? Are you parking it with the emergency brake on?

Front brakes are the ones sticking. E-brake is not being used in the garage.

Hmm do you live in a humid environment? If so have the stealership bleed the brakes. And have them inspect the front brake lines to make sure that they arent pinched or restricted. If they are they could cause pressure to stay built up in the line. Also try really romping on the brakes for a while and putting them thru a few really good heat cycles. Often times if the pads dont get the stuff scraped off they will rust to the rotors. You may just need new pads.

Sticking Brakes on 01 Sequoia fixed

Dealer consulted with Toyota Tech support. No help there. Service mgr had been on vacation. When he retruned he diciced the pads were rusting to the rotors. He replaced the rotors and pads. saidi he had done this on several other vehicles and it worked. Problem gone. Has been two months and 3k with out a problem and the fall and early winter have been warm and very damp.
