01 Sequoia, Steering Angle Sensor problem
Hello everyone. I am desperately in need of assistance. I have a friend that bought an 01 Sequoia 2wd to sell. There are two lights on on the dash, the VSC and Trac Off lights. I have already replaced the Steering angle sensor with a brand new one, still have code 31 and will not re learn. I replaced the translate ECU with one from a wreck and still have the same problem.
Seems as if I remember a few years ago I ran into this problem and had a cut wire around the steering column. I haven't found a bad wire yet and the ohm check of the wires from the translate ecu to the sas check fine. However when the vehicle is switched on, the resistance on one of the wires goes up to 30 ohms and higher.
Any thoughts?
