Lifts for FZJ80s

I think I finally convinced my dad he needs to lift his 80 series, but he keeps asking me where do you get the lift and how much is it. If anybody knows of what kits are availible and at what price I'd appreciate the info.

So far I found this OME setup:
here

It seems like a good deal to me, minus shipping it totalled $551.28 four springs, four shocks.

Looks like I'll be telling him to get the OME 2" lift. that will be plenty to clear a modestly bigger tire.

The 80 series lifts are essentially stiffer springs. There are a bunch of available options for lifts. The Old Man Emu has a bunch of different options. Slee carries all of them, and also sells a higher lift, 4" and 6". Slee is great and I highly recommend them.

You can run 285/75/16 (33") on a stock landcruiser with no issues. Unless you venture offroad. Then you would encounter some rubbing. Also, you do not need to regear with the 285's.

Good luck

Man-a-fre sells a lot of 80 series stuff. Its bolt-on, and its not cheap (like any cruiser stuff is cheap).

I've also supplied a few FJ80 body lifts (1" so far):
