Wow thats nice, did you go through a dealer/broker or did you do it by yourself or happen to find it locally?

I'm in Canada too and one day I'm looking to get something similar.

I have been contemplating a motor swap, and am thinking about a 5.3L due to cost vice the diesel, but on the other hand I just want to go to Canada and pay the import fee. You guys are fortunate for the diesel option.

When I got it, it had been here for four years. Just kept my eyes open for a long time!!!!! Wanted a hilux at first, mostly to put the sled in the back, but the head issues were more than I wanted to take on. Redoing the BEB's (connecting rod bearings) in the cruiser was enough for this back yard mechanic. As for the 350 swap, well what do you drive? 60,80? Darwink has a 60 with a 350 and it is sweet, but I like to keep it Toyota, so a 4.7 might be an idea?

I've got an 96 FZJ80 with the 5" OME competition lift kit on 35". I have been following a build on another size that a guy is doing with a 4.7 and really like it.

I need a kleenex!! That thing is awesome!! My wife drives out '97 FZJ80 locked with arb, and ome lift, 226K. I keep telling her when the gas motor needs a rebuild, I am going to swap in the 1hd-t/h55f. Show her when she is all washed up!! Congrats!!
