Yukon has used this design for many years on domestic applications and has finally incorporated it for Toyota's! Simply measure your old axles, cut the new axle to length using a chop saw, and then bevel the splines with a bench grinder. This process does not affect the axle's performance because the cut is beyond the side gear where no contact is made.

Trim-to-fit in four easy steps!

1) Measure the length of your stock axle
2) Cut
3) Bevel
4) Install!

As you can see, the final cut is very similar to a stock axle, and as mentioned above, the process does not affect the axle's performance because the cut is beyond the side gear where no contact is made.
