scuba's 1999 Tacoma Build-Up Thread

Alright so instead of just compiling pics in my profile where yall cant comment, figure I would share it here too..

Ill try to stay within a good timeline..

So, The vehicle in question is a 99 Regular Cab Tacoma 4X4, 2.7 (3RZ) 5Speed (W59)

This was the second or third day I had her, Stock as hell

It had an AAL that was quickly removed..

First mod was the sliders..

CB

Then I wheeled the piss out of it and realized open diffs suck

Fixed that problem real quick. (Lockright) (Best Mod yet)

Then I got a little locker head strong and took on john bull, Still mostly stock..

Cracked exhaust manifold --> Toyota Mini headers, The lockright mentioned earlier, and my front lift (OME 881's and N91S Shocks)

Added a toolbox somewhere along the way

Decided on the rear lift stuff ( Allpro 3" rear kit w/ U bolt flip kit, ext. brake line, 10" Bilstein 5150's

Before

After

Underneath:

Then I wheeled it like that for a little while (still on 31's)

Then I found an UBER BADASS deal on some 33x10.5 R15 BFG MT Km1's

Chopped the sideskirts..(PREP)

And then I bobbed the bed

Thats basically what it looks like now, Should have the bob finished up soon..

Well today was Thumpers 112th birthday

I finally got a chance to change out my slowly failing clutch hydraulics.. (Toyota OEM Of course, Only the best on Tumpers Birthday )

Also finally got around to re mounting my custom CB antennae bracket, Put in 2 eye bolts for tie downs while I was at it ( the other one is on the other side of the tool box)
