Pictures on the internet are often not an exact representation of what the product you are ordering will be.

I always feel like there's a shakedown going on when i hit the parts counter........anywhere!!
My local toyota dealers differ in price on a axle seal by 8 bucks each and the parts stores try and sell you tiered quality parts and warranties at every turn. The major rub is that many times...they are all the same parts.....toyota, zone, napa, o' reilly.........SCAM !! Like Vegas baby !!!

I laugh seeing this thread back in the day I would have gladly paid Double (then what) to get Moog Suspension parts.

All the regulations and Taxes Chasing manufactures overseas they have paid in quality

Now I will buy critical Suspension parts from Toyota

Seriously though, how often do you need to change your suspension components, once in your life? I have 250k miles on my Tacoma stock EVERYTHING, including ball joint and TREs, struts, etc. Why in the hell would you use cheap aftermarket crap that may or may not work? Something so important it's not even a question. Are you really saving money if you have to redo parts in two years because of failure or premature wear, or god forbid you DIE using crap parts. Well at least then you won't have to worry about it anymore lol. I'll step down now.

I guess it was all how one is raised.

I know people that will go for the cheapest parts they can find .

Spends hours online searching for a better price for brake pads or calipers

Think nothing of driving 50 miles to save $3.00.00

I will be quiet now

purchasing of tie rod end

What this does is assure Moog the best product any other "Moog rejects" are no problem for the manufacturer because they sell them as off brand or house brand names. Just because something looks alike does not mean it is the same part. It could be the same but from a manufacturing standpoint I wanted to make this point.
-I absoultely agreed as we are a car steering tie rod and suspension arms manufacturer, we produce per customers' requirements. The tie rod ends look the same as its original one shows, absolutely in the sizes. But, the processing proedures are different, for examples, tempered & heated treatment, as well as the characteristic of the alloy and the rubber for the dust boot.
