If the R150F can handle a supercharged V6 making ~300HP then I'd think they are up to the 4.7L stock but that's just a guess...

I'd like to see a burlier tranny in there.

as you can see, bell housing covers up half of the front drive flange.
I am going to make a new transmission cross member. With a body lift, it should leave enough room for my radiator and the regular engine fan.

all of the v8 swaps i've seen in person were on SAS'ed trucks, so this wasn't an issue. my plans are sas, then small block chevy swap, but...dodge is different.

V8's have a good sound. Besides that, you can pull heavy stuff with a V8 you can't pull ˟˟˟˟ with a turbo 4cyl.

The Tundra V8 is only availible with an auto . The V6 has the option of a 6 speed manual

LOL, I get ya.
I, and a lot of folks, wish there was just a simple bolt in "kit", but there are too many variables and always something to fab. There are some parts out there that really help doing swaps, but you kind of have to love it for the hobby it is. Although there are a couple of guys here that have successfully done swaps and had no clue whatsoever when they started (and not much clue when they fiinished in some cases. ;-) , but they stuck to it and got er done! Good on 'em!
