It is one of those things this is a long dead thread!!
It could be done the cost till it was all Fabricated would pay for a spare trans or a few to be rebuilt and put on the shelf
I think one would almost need to build a new gear box to run a different type of oil since there would need to be a pan and a pump and a thermostat to start and stop the cooler as needed
As your Manual Trans and the Case do not share common fluid now one would need a cooler for the Case as well.
This is going to get very expensive

And that would assume that you'd go through a manual trans or two because they overheated.

Not to stick my nose in an old pissn contest and more do I have a yoga! Lol but there are manuals that run auto trans fluid in both trans and transfer cases!!! Just thought I'd enlighten the discussion a little bitty bit!!! And BTW mine also lower geared than say a NP 205 for instance.

A 2002 thread, but regardless there is no way to pump any type of fluid viscosity in a manual transmission, the only way to add cooling efficiency to a manual transmission is to increase fluid capacity and/or surface area of transmission case, perhaps an external cooler with large lines directly attached to the manual transmission case below oil level line would add capacity and surface area, but it leaves the transmission vulnerable to fluid loss due to many factors, and brings into question if the extra cooling is of any benefit, and if a spare transmission on the shelf is the best solution.

A cooler is just not needed here. I dont care how hard you drive or what you are towing, the gears inside of a manual trans just dont produce enough heat while meshing together to need the fluid to be cooled. To try and add one would be a complete waste of time, money, and effort.
Most of the heat in a manual transmission is going to be transferred from the engine or exhaust and not actually made inside the trans itself.
If your manual trans is hot enough that you need to bring the temp down, it means your truck is on fire and I would use a fire extinguisher at that point.
