Well, if the bolt direction isn't an issue, then all that remains is to use one of the methods mentioned to secure the crank so it doesn't turn and use a long enough handle to overcome the bolt torque. Which brings up another point. When you get ready to put it all back together, make sure you tighten the bolt to the correct torque setting. It was initially tightened to that degree for a reason.

There is no damage caused by doing so and it adds extra insurance that it will not come apart on accident.
Just be sure to select the correct loctite for that particular application.

Flywheel bolt thread direction
What is the direction for the removal of the Flywheel bolts for 2007 toyata hilux, every post just seems to skip that point.
