My K&N just arrived today. I was on the fence about it and the TT but i think i'm going to keep it.Locally all the shops have all the crap to maintain it. so this weekend when i have lotsa light i'll start early i'll install it. I'm also going to print your pics to serve as an aid to installation.. hope you dont mind!

Just open the box to your K&N. There is several sheets in there that will walk you through it with ease. But yeah, shoot me a line if you have any questions.

Yep... -20, -25, Sometimes -30 around here for a few weeks each winter. I know I sound like an idiot saying this, but it's not as bad as it sounds... LOL Just don't want to be out in it all day, trust me!

That's a bit chilly ...is there wind to go with that? or is that w/out wind? either way it's cold.
Thanks for all the support. I was not even sure if i was going to go with the K&N.Thing is all the local shops carry all the accesories so if i need something i can get it. I did nention the True Flow andalso the other boxed system. Most folk say it'll work- So i'll go for it and see.
I'll do it on Saturday and see if i can snap some pics.. of it and my T4R
Thanks for the reply.

All,
I finnished my k&n today. I had some issues with hoses and such but it was nothing that a quick trip to the autoparts store could not fix.
Doc... where is your mass air filter? i did not see it in your picture.. I used your pics as a go between because the instructions were not as clear as i hoped them to be. but when i get a chance i'll include some pics so you can see what i did.. nothing special and i'm sure you have seen them all before.I'll post some of my truck too.
Thanks again for all of the replies and help.
