Lucas Stop Leak (Oil)
#22
Shop called today. Valve cover gaskets...feel like an idiot. The leak was dripping down the back side of the engine. Mechanic told me that he usually does not see oil pan leaks from 4Runners.

I see no reason to mess with it.

Valve cover leaks are pretty common. My veezy has had a very slow leak for a few months now. Just waiting so I can send the injectors in and adjust the valves while I'm in there.

Same
I have a similiar issue StarGazer...
At first I thought it was the valve cover gaskets, so I replaced those without much luck in solving the issue.
Then I had the shop pull the front diff and re-seal the oil plan, that also did not fix the issue.
So I have still have an oil leak somewhere on the back of the engine that no one seems to be able to find. I'm open to suggestions on where to start looking.

i changed my transmission filter and gasket put an extra RTV coat to keep it extra sealed. New valve covers new hoses is some spots just about anything I've seen wrong I've fixed but still can't find out where this leak is... it's very small to maybe a drop or 2 of oil a day. Any suggestions

it drips only when it's running pretty much but yeah a few drops a day not much still though, I don't want a leaking truck in my drive way. It has to be a little fix just gonna take some time to find out where it's coming from
