Alright I got the pressure plate in today and it was finally the right one. I set the motor in place and now everything just needs to be connected. I'll have it running by tomorrow and will post some pics too.

sounds cool, but why such a light flywheel? i could see that on a 2wd(yours IS 4wd, isn't it??) but on a 4x4 you need a heavy flywheel

its not crazy light like 9lbs. I just wanted to get off the line a little quicker and the 16lbs flywheel is slightly lighter than stock. If I don't like it then I'll get a heavier one and install it when i need a new clutch and rebuild my tranny.

Alright, got the motor in and running and spent a while working out a few kinks. The motor runs great and is very smooth. I ran open downpipe for a short time and it was great to hear the turbo spool up. I've been very gentle with it and I can easily go up hills with the gas lightly pressed down. I can't wait until it breaks in so I can upgrade the turbo and mod it some more. I also wana see how hard it pulls when it breaks in b/c I drove my friends nissan 240sx with a modified sr20 and it pulled so hard!! Anyways, here's some pics of the motor. You can see where I mounted the oilfilter and the new oil cooler behind the grill (plenty of room for a decent sized intercooler back there). The motor looks pretty stock and its hard to tell it has some mods. I took it down to the muffler shop and had the exhaust welded up. The guy saw my fake cat and was like what the hell is this? Then he said oh I see and laughed, then he said you almost fooled me there. The exhaust is pretty quite even with no cat and with a flowmaster. I'm thinking of just a straight pipe and a resonator Also, I opted not to put the crane ignition in until after break in just to be safe. For fun I got zapped by it and that crane ignition is NO JOKE. lol http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...0448&members=1
