deckplate mod question

hey i saw a 6 inch deckplate at the store and i am wondering if that would fit on the airbox. also, would that give you more power or breathablity? thanks!

I agree with everything phil said. A 6" will not fit on a stock 96 airbox... and the extra diameter wouldn't give you any noticable gains.

I believe a guy on the Taco forum put a 5" deckplate in and it seemed about the same (same air box). The 4" looks better IMHO. Like the other guys said I don't think it would make any difference.

I wouldn't go bigger than 4 inch.
