Amsoil fluid question

I have decided to get amsoil for my diffs and transfer. My manual says to use SAE90 in the rear, but amsoil does not sell this. Can I use 75W-90 instead? This is for a 92. What does everyone else use?

Yes, 75W-90 in the front and rear diffs will work just fine, as well as in the transfer case. I can't remember off the top of my head what the transmission takes, but it should be in the owner's manual. Also, 80W-90 will work fine for the rear diff.

On the transfer case, If it is an automatic, then it uses ATF.

Mine's not a 2nd gen. however I thought I'd add my two bits in for you. I use Amsoil 75W-90 in both diffs & the transfer case.

No complaints.

Ditto.
I run Amsoil 75-90 in both diffs, and Amsoil ATF in the transfer case.

And of course Amsoil 10-30 in the engine, and Amsoil ATF in the tranny.

Is this the case for 3rd Gen Automatics also or only 2nd generations?

I hope not.....

2nd gens only. 3rd gens use gear oil in the transfer case.

How about a 3rd Generation Transmission? Anyone know?

Chris

P.S. I just bought the Engine Flush, and 0W-30 Series 2000 engine oil for the first time. I'm excited to put it in.

3rd gen transmission is still ATF fluid. It's just the transfer case that uses gear oil.

I've read Gadget's site about what type of flush system to use, and I was wondering if I should buy the equipment to do it or have a shop do it using Amsoil ATF? Anyone know where I can get the flushing system that he recommends: pump inlet flush machine. Thanks,

Chris
