Looks good! You sure got a deal. Did you ever fix the roof? What I was thinking as I was reading is the same as you seem to have decided: grind rust, rust converter paint and Bondo glass. I will add that you could get a piece of fiberglass mat - it comes folded in a bag next to the other Bondo products- and cut small pieces, wet them with the Bondo glass and jam it anywhere you have a hole. If you end up needing paint there's an on line company that will match factory and put it in a spray can:
