I saw it's brother the Titan- basically the same truck.
It is HUGE. I'm talking about if-the-grille-was-hinged-it-would-be-a-garage-huge. I think the emblem is as big as the screen I'm looking at right now. You think I'm exaggerating- I'm not!!

Yesterday I test drove a Pathfinder LE and an 03 V8 4Runner. My Pathfinder LE test drive confirmed what I expected -- I greatly prefer the 4Runner. The Pathfinder is noticeably louder inside. It has more wind noise and road noise. The Pathfinder's V6 is also pretty loud when you accelerate. The Pathfinder is also noticeably slower than the V8 4Runner. That won't make a difference for some people, but it does to me. The Pathfinder just felt overburdened with weight.
The 4Runner had a better ride and, of course, significantly more room in the back seat. The Pathfinder did have some nice features (e.g., memory seats), but the switch gear seemed to be somewhat scattered around the truck.
For me, there was no real comparison. The 4Runner is a much nicer truck.
The Armada is a much larger truck, similar in size to the Sequoia. Way too big for me.

The Armada is a Expedition/Sequoia fighter, I've read a few comparisons in the magazines and it is slightly bigger than an Expedition, which brings the Titan FullSize PU into play, Nissan is going for direct competition with the F-150 their not making the same mistake Toyota did with the Tundra
Armada should be at dealers in October and the Titan will be their in December
The Pathfinder in it's current form can't really compete with the 4Runner, maybe if you where comparing a 02 Runner to an 03 Pathfinder.
This is what the 2005 Pathfinder might/should look like and the all new Pathfinder/Frontier/Xterra will share platforms with the Titan

I've owned one Nissan (college). It was reliable, but the interior was made of cheapo hard black plastic and the seating material was thin and constructed of cheesecloth. The Nissan fit my need at the time, I liked the Maxima until they redesigned it, what is up with the funky sunroof?, but will always buy Toyota. The craftsmanship, quality, build materials used and reliability have me sold. The Runner is what I would want in a vehicle if I could design my own vehicle. I like the Xterrra, but the suspension height is less than my Subaru Forester!

I owned a 93 Pathfinder that I sold to a friend before buying the 03 4runner. The 93 was 4wd and the 4runner the same, with the V8. Loved the Pathfinder and used it often in Flagstaff and the north GA mountains. Only complaint was power. The V8 in the 4runner is amazing and I love the vehicle, my only complaint is I have to see my old Nissan still chugging down the road as our friends only reliable car :-)
