I have 283k on the click. It's a 95.5 taco with a 3.4 running on 31's. At the first of the year I'll be swapping out the ifs for solid axle!!!!! Right now she is my everyday drive. Once I get a new taco she will get retired to the sand, mud, and water! Full blown trail rig!!!!

I'm retarded I was reading this on my phone and didn't realize I wasn't in the appropriate sub forum to be posting.
I'm at 308,xxx in my 85 SR5 Extra Cab. I bought it about 6k ago. The PO said that the 22RE was rebuilt about 40k before he got it, so that would equate to 50k or so ago now. He didn't have any way to verify that, but the timing chain and tensioners look good, it has awesome power and starts pretty much as soon a the engine cranks over every time. There is a little bit of a whine from the manual transmission, no more than on anything I've had before that was geared similarly. (I've had a couple of compact cars that had transmissions that were dead silent.) I'll probably get a lower mileage used transmission and rebuild it when funds allow, and the right deal presents itself. The only leak is the pinion seal in the rear third. I'm going to replace that in the next week or two. I have to get a couple of pullers that I don't have for that process. I'm running AMSOIL in the motor and transmission. Seems awesome so far.

I intend to join this club before 2013 comes to a close. I'm at 264,000 with my '01. Purchased it with 2 miles on the clock and have done all of the maintenance myself. Castrol GTX 5w/30 every 3,000, diffs & transfer case every 50,000, regular chassis greasing, etc.
Love this truck.

I have a 1998 with 168,000 I am a long way off. I never really had to drive mine much I had a work truck. I run mobile 1 5w30 synthetic change it ever 7,500 miles. When I change the oil I clean and re oil k&n filter and lube drive train with synthetic grease. The diff, tranny and transfer case all have synthetic gear oil. My truck runs amazing but needs a clutch. Man I hope I can get to 300,000 one day lots of catching up!

my 2000 tacoma with the 2.7 has 443000. i have never had the valve cover off. i put a clutch in it at 377000. it still has the original rear brakes. i have put a radiator in it, alternator and water pump, knock sensor and harness and a catalytic convertor. i change the oil every 4000 miles with 10w30. i am hoping for 500k before i have to do anything major to it.
