The meth injection is a nice bonus, helps keep everything cool as the supercharger likes to get REAL hot. IAT's can easily get well over 200 degrees.

Many people just run a 2.2 pulley though, I did for awhile and it worked fine. Didn't make nearly the same power as with meth injection though.
Ive known Richard at ERL for a long, long time- so I might be biased That said the old mag pump was a slick piece of work- like a Rolex Daytona is a slick watch- but probably works "worse" than a $25 Timex (I mean, heck, you have to WIND a Rolex), if you get my drift

The 2.1" pulley works great at higher elevations

It sounds like it's the same as my OBD1 cat (200 cell)... you are likely running an OBD1 cat... obd 2 cats are much more money.

Odd, around here you can get legal cats installed for around $90 and inspected on the same day.

They are even cheaper online, here is the first listing that came up in my quick search: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thunderbolt-...082d86&vxp=mtr

$50 for an OBDII cat shipped to your door.

Agreed, however i'm talking about 100% 304 Stainless steel metal core "spun" cats, not standard cats.

I guess I don't see the point in spending more then I have to on an item I don't want anyways. Not like I care how well it works as long as it passes the tailpipe sniffer which they have on all the cars I have used them on with flying colors.

Based on the OP's dyno's, the CAT alone is a 10hp / 12 lb-ft increase throughout the ENTIRE powerband... it's basically like running a LEGAL test pipe.

Performance wise the cheaper ones usually work better due to having less material in them to restrict flow. They just wear out quicker and don't clean as well in my experience.

Either way, to each their own, I prefer having no cat personally.
