The 88's getting closer to getting done, maybe i should post a build thread for it (think i will)... I got another pair of doors for this truck this past weekend, guess it's time to change em again, maybe i'll finally put my new passenger fender on... I also yanked a set of buckets out of a 2001 Hyundai Accent that a buddy of mine scrapped the other day, so soon as i get a couple other projects done (well, closer to done...), i'm gonna get them reaphoulstered in camo and installed (maybe not in that order)....

Well, The 78's still keeping me away from YEEHAW, but I thought y'all may appreciate a little looksie at it, so here's a link to my garage over a FTE... http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/ga...7-Yeehaw1.html

In the meantime though, i managed to put a hole in the sidewall of one of my 235-75-15, tire set, so i'm back to my 255-70-15's, and my outlaw 2 rims untill i can get a tube put in the other tire.

I've also removed the belt from my air conditionar, changed the oil, changed the fuel filter, and ran a jug of injector cleaner... Seems like it's runnig a bit better now... I'm changing the air filter in the morning...

Still haven't changed the doors, bed, or passenger fender, but i think i'm gonna set them out of the way for a little while, I really want to get the 78' going...

Always liked the those year of Ford trucks. I like the 74-79. Like the body style and how they did the dash on those trucks. Great little trucks and easy to work on. Hope all goes well.

Same here,78-79 and 92-96 (97 on the 3/4 and 1 tons) are my two favorite bodystyles! Ive always loved how the dash is so clean, and simple on them. Thanks, I'm trying to do a modernized restoration type of thing with it.

No, I guess I forgot to mention in the beginning, but when I rolled yeehaw, the bedsides were indented at around a 45-65 degree angle, and the rear corners were absolutely ruined... So I found a truck that had good rear corners, Cut them out, and then welded them into yeehaw, so that's why it looks like the beds been cut.

Been using Yeehaw alot here lately...

On a bad note though, I gotta park it for the next couple of days, while I glue my windshield back in (notice the gorilla tape around the edge)... I also got a problem with it spitin and sputterin on startup, and trying to die... It'll clear up sometimes, but then other times, you have to shut it off, and start it up again...then it's fine, like nothing happend... I run injector cleaner through the fuel every 1500 miles, oil's changed every 3-4000 miles, etc... Plugs, Wires, Cap, rotor button, air cleaner, etc are about 3 years old now, we changed them after I got the truck....

Probably not a good thing, but I never did make time to glue the windshield back in...
On another kind of sad note, Yeehaw has been retired as my DD in favor of this 95 4x4 5spd Nissan...

But don't Fret, the Nissan isn't here to stay... I bought it because Yeehaw's in need of some work, and my 78 F100 still isn't finished (parts just keep getting more expensive)
So, Next week, when the Nissan is ready to drive, I'll be starting the Teardown on Yeehaw. Gonna pull and store all the interior (minus the dash and drivers seat to begin with) make sure there's no rust started there, and then start doing body work, I'm debating buying a new aftermarket hood (I already bought new front fenders, although 1 of them is still in the garage...

But, I'll ramble about that later... Today we set up on the side of the road and sold maters to help fund my 78' F100 restoration.
