thspittingllama's 1st gen 4runner build

ok guys, so i just decided that i was going to change my Yota build from an 87' pick up to a 87' 4runner. well any first gen 4runner with ifs. I have done up a rough draft of what i want it to look like and i would love your input as i put together my parts list. This may be a bit of a slow build but it will get done lol. So here's what my rough draft looks like. and yes it was done in paint.

yeah its going to take a while to get it all done.. but at least i have direction right? I still have my pick up so i need to find a runner with a clean body for cheap. i'll probably look for one with a blown motor or something. I'll keep building on my pickup for now, everything can be swapped over later. Gears and lockers are first on the priority list!

$7,000.00 in suspension is alot of money. I'm sure you could put a solid axle under it for half that price if not less. Any reason you want the IFS?

OK. I new there had to be a good reason to keep the IFS and drop that kind of money into it.

Wow. Now thats a build plan! At least you have a direction. Some of those parts are possible CL/YT finds. Save some $$.
