Looking great, Lancer~! Love these xtra cabs!

Just a side note...... I had stock 4:10's in my 86 Short Bed 5spd, EFI, TOTALLY stock..... 33x12.50's...... it did 75-80 no problem. Not trying to say you have a problem, just sharing my experience.

Thanks Andrew!! I welcome your feedback...moving forward!!!

Oh, and, just a heads up, the lift is finished!! 1.5" Body lift by the way; I thought 1" was too little, 2" overkill, and 3" well,.....
But, now, 1.5" kinda looks a little too much... 1" would have been perfect with a little trimming. IDK, what do yall think?
Pics are being uploaded!

As promised, on to the pics!!

1.5" Body lift blocks & new energy suspension poly urethane body bushings: All factory washers were reused and redrilled for the bigger & stronger 7/16 hardware. That included the washers from the enegy suspension kit.

The drill:

First thing: remove all nuts from the six body bolts but leave the bolts in place

For 1"-1.5" Body lifts the only necessary "mod" is the steering:

Used my dads heavy duty transmission jack for all the lifting needs

One side at a time

Moved on to the other and she is finito...

Dont know if you can tell; but the engine sunk a lot

The other tires heading out for mounting

Stacks, anyone?

Thanks!! Yup, that's what I noticed; I can now probably bolt something up to the frame.(Tips had less than .5" clerance to the frame before) Although, I'm considering cutting them off, mounting a bumper, and relocate them inside the frame rails. But then again, I'll have no room for the spare, oh well.

Yes!! Yes they are!! Found them at a big rig yard. How'd you think they'll look mounted where the sliders would be?? Ha

Ha, I know what you mean, I've seen a couple yotas around with mud paintjobs, lol.

Next plans? I'll probably be swapping the 4:88s from the runner I got to the pickup and the 4:10s into the runner. Was considering an Aussie but don't think I have the funds. Later, sliders, but want to paint it before I weld them on.(viper red!!) Thats really all I have planned at the moment but I think some ifs maintenance is in order soon.

Yeah, I will this summer. I've got oem boots/grease sitting in the shed. (eBay special $15) It did an okay job of keeping trash out of them in the winter, but they're starting to tear worse now, and that's without any use but steering.

Will do, but im afraid it'll be a little while before i get to that; there's some rust i gotta tackle and i have an eye on a fiberglass bed that popped up.

Finally got around to uploading some finished pics:
New 33x12.5 KM2s on 15x8 Eagle Alloys were mounted April 16, 2011 at approximately 3xx,xxx miles (will get exact number later, wrote it down)

On a more recent note; I put new bushings on the idler arm and i also, somehow, managed to damage the left rear corner of the bed.
