Thanks...it is already a pain in the behind, thankfully I am really good with wiring schematics, since I use them all the time at work...

First of all thank you for your service to this country!

Awesome progress, the 1UZ was indeed an excellent choice. We're working on the same truck, feel free to check out mine (link in my sig). I dont envy your rust situation, but clearly you're not scared of it.

I'm 95% sure that white tube behind the passenger fender on page 1 is related to the antenna. So unless you're ordering a new antenna from toyota, I wouldnt worry about it.

So sorry everyone, about the lack of posting....I have been super busy as usual....then went on Christmas leave to California...which was fun, but damn did I wish I had my truck to wheel...so since I have been back I have done a little work on it...but all I am doing now is frame work...trying to get the frame all sandblasted, and repaired...I have to replace two crossmembers, and patch a couple holes...thankfully nothing is too bad...the biggest problem I am having is my compressor is weak and my sand blaster is small so it is taking me some time...but soon, I think this weekend my frame will be completely done...I will get some progress pics up soon, but deployment is coming up so soon...I have less than two months before I leave...so my plan is to at least have the frame and cab repaired...and since I am still making plans on what direction I fully plan on taking this rig...I will have this whole deployment to buy what I need and plan everything, step for step...

Stay safe out there, Superman! Nice progress.... can't wait! Love the pic in the living room and the 'sniff test' going on! hahaha.

PS> Can you borrow a bigger sand blaster from A1 Rentals(or some place like that near you?). Might save you DAYS! lol.

Thanks me either, however it will be awhile...which I know it already has been awhile...it really sucks when you want to work on it but don't have the time...and then when you have all the time you need but don't have the money! If it weren't for those issues this baby would be done...but of course you could say that about everything...lmao "If only I had more time and money...." However, with the deployment I will be bringing in a bunch of money so, my plan is to order and have most of what I need shipped home, my wife is just gonna put it in the garage for me...so when I get home I will have a garage full of goodies to work with...it's gonna be awesome!

That is the plan, I have been writing up and drawing up plans for the truck so that I have a good idea of what I need to accomplish it...I will be ordering parts and tools for it and I can't wait until I can get back and get back to work on it...I haven't even left yet and I am super excited about it...I have had the truck for almost a year now and because of lack of time and money I have driven it less than 100 ft (onto and then off of the trailer) but I have seen it go from a full (well almost full due to the cancer) truck to a bare frame, my hope is to have the frame restored and the cab resto began in the next month before I go, that way when I get back I can finish rebuilding the motor and start putting everything back together...I have so many plans for the truck...I cannot wait to see the truck start coming back to life...so thanks to everyone who has been watching my progress, and I really hate to have to leave it for so long, again...but that is the price we pay to "serve our country" but I will be keeping up to date as much as I can with my purchases for the project...that way you guys can share in my anticipation for when I get back!

So just by looking at that list you guys can pretty much tell what my plans are...I have spent the last two months of deployment using all my extra time drawing up plans, working on the wiring schematics, and looking for parts...so hopefully with this list I can actually start putting my goals into action!

TOTALLY understand that. My 4th gear Syncro is toast.... it still goes in but HEHEHE. So, I figure, "why not slap in a trans that WILL handle the 1UZ or whatever swap I one day play to do"? I know you can get one in L.A., reman'd..... but HOLY CRAPULA! Pricey haha.
