mostly used are vhf radio that can be heard all over the country. Some use Cb radio when in smaller private groops. Sammi in the green 4runner has some heavy duty radios aswell and he can talk to people in other contries. I dont know the name of that radio

Good looking truck... I would'nt have thought about doing a Nissan Diesel conversion...
Couple of curious? for you...
are the retention chains on the mudflaps a stock thing on Iceland Yotas or are they custom? and what does the writing on them say? I can make out the Logo and the Toyota but not the rest of it... I ask because I need some new ones and would like to get some "interesting" ones with the chains/straps on them...
second your Lund Moonvisor... {aside from having two burned out bulbs lol} do the reflections on the windshield glass show up on the inside when you are looking through it? [been wanting one of them too but not if it is going to cause a visual impairment [or kill the fuel economy much]...
Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Aviator

Ever since the top gear arctic episode, I've been in love with those extreme snow machines. Probably cause that's where I saw the body style first but nevertheless you guys ROCK. Do you guys run some sort of extra heating set up for the fluids? I'm just imagining how cold it could get up there!
Cheers

Love the pics! I just traded my first gen for some 42' iroks and 1500 bucks. Now I need to replace my bent housing from our local top truck challenge. I gotta ask how is the job market there? I would love to go wheelin' there some day or move there. I love the snow.
