Bud Built crossmember for 3.0 5spd with 3/4" drivetrain lift (pics)

I had this on my rig for less than 6 months. I used a full can of "bare metal" Rustoleum primer plus a full can of black Rustoleum paint.
It does have a few surface scratches but nothing that a little touch up can't fix.

Fits 88-95 4runners and trucks with 3.0 V6 engine and 5 speed transmission. Bolts to stock frame locations.

$180 local pick up. $200 shipped within 500 miles. $210 shipped outside of 500 miles.

My crappy stock crossmember with 33's only had 12 1/2" of clearance...

Bud Built crossmember gave me 14 1/2" of clearance...

Which would you rather have?

* I will also throw in 16 grade 8 washers...strongly recommened when mounting.

* Flat head metric screws are also included that attach the stock rubber transfer case mount.

The factory. The tranfercase is exposed. I know in another thread many people have not had a problem but the idea of letting things hang without protection is not a good idea. Where did you get the 3/4 lift? All I see is a swapped crossmember.

The transfer case is only "protected" by a thin piece of tin anyway. The factory Xmember hangs ridiculously low and can easily get hung up on a rock. In fact, if I did'nt have BudBuilts Xmember i know i would of many times. The drivetrain lift is achieved by the crossmember, it's what I custom ordered. See www.BudBuilt.com for more info.
I've never heard a single complaint about his crossmembers.

It's offers more ground clearance with a much wider area of protection. See the comparison pictures above.

Selling because my 4Runner was totaled.

Also, if you look at both tape measure pictures very closely, you can pretty much tell that my transfer case was raised 3/4"...which is exactly what i ordered.

Heres another angle. You can kinda see the couple minor paint scratches it has but that only goes to show how effective (off road) it was versus the factory rock magnet...

I need money so i'm lowering the price a lot...
$150 local pick up. $175 shipped within 500 miles. $180 shipped outside of 500 miles.

Thats less then half the price of what you'd get it for from BudBuilt.

PM me about this -- I might be willing to buy both the skid and crossmember for the right price since shipping could be combined.

TTT

This crossmemeber is for a 5spd only and requires a 1" (or higher) BL.
Due to the 3/4" drivetrain lift, i did have minor vibrations at highway speeds...i only went that high because i didn't want to do other modifications. After a couple weeks, the vibrations began to go away.

4crawler recommended i use motor mount spacers *IF* i still had vibrations but that ended up not being necessary in my case. Just a heads up for anyone considering this part. Budbuilt himself said many have bought much higher drivetrain lifted crossmembers with no issues.

I would still be using it today if it wasn't for my 4runner being totaled.

Half price...
$150 local pick up. $175 shipped within 500 miles. $180 shipped outside of 500 miles.
