Are these Yota oem wheels?

Does anyone know what these 15” aluminum wheels are off of? My buddy has 4 and thinks they are Toyota. He’s offering them to me free.

are those hub-centric, rather than the lug-centric that came on these trucks? will they clear the bigger upgraded calipers?

i went with 17" wheels to get better tire selection and caliper clearance with 37" tires on a solid front axle, but things should be much easier on a stock ifs truck.

i really have no idea. Have not tried them on the truck yet. They are in CT. The truck is in MA.

if your friend could take a close-up photo of one of the lug nut holes, we should be able to see if the outer area around the hole is coned.

the flat lug nuts for hub-centric have washers? so you might need a set of lug nuts, which then gets into the controversy about the suitability of running hub-centric wheels on vehicles designed for lug-centric rims.

Well thanks for the efforts. Someone in the 1st Gen 4runner FB group identified them as mid 90’s Montero rims. I won’t be using them.

Hi Guys Does anyone know how to tell the difference between an original Toyota rim and a copy ? Gumtree is full of okes selling 17" Hilux / Fortuner rims but they are not genuine Toyota rims. If a guy is telling you it is genuine how do you know , other than buying at the dealer for crazy money............. Also has anyone ever heard of rim failure happening ?
