Are you keeping it fuel injected or putting a carb on it? I am thinking about putting a 5.0 in an early 90's 4runner so I will be watching your progress closely. I put a 5.0 in another vehicle and used an RJM engine wiring harness from fordfuelinjection.com. I'm no electrician so that's the harness I will use in my 4runner instead of trying to splice in the mustang harness.

im keepin it fuel injected because im going to keep it CA smog legal for as long as possible. i just don't like the idea off having to trailer it around until it is absolutely necessary.

as for progress today i started removing the little stuff i over looked from the engine compartment but got sidetracked by some buddys who came over to see how it was going and lend a hand. amazing how every time i have help we just end up BSing and telling stories

dude, just try to make your own first. but if you end up breakin down and buying some, buy from adavance adapters. i can almost guarantee you'll break the ones from northwest offroad, we did. thats why we copied advance adapters version and made our own. they held up alot better.

5.04runner - any other recommendations on parts to not buy from NWoffroad? I am going to be putting a 5.0 in a 4runner soon and I was planning on buying NWoffroad's bellhousing, clutch, headers, motor mounts, etc.
