Good Morning all,

I’m kinda new to all of this and don’t have much knowledge about the subject matter. But I’m willing to learn. I’ve spent the past week researching what engine I want to swap into my 88 extr cab pickup. I decided on a ford 302 but now I’m stuck on what transmission and transfer case I should get (manual). Currently my truck has the 22re and a w56 with a 4in ifs lift. I’ve read on here people have used the stock transmission and transfer case, and I’ve heard mixed reviews on if it’s ideal or not. I thought about just using the stock trans and trans case and see what happens but all the links for the bellhousing adapters (Northwestoffroad) don’t work anymore. If anyone could point me into the right direction on a bellhousing adapter for the w56 to 302 or what trans and trans case I should get it would help me out a lot!
